Build your own Electroforming Jar with the Kitchensmith! In this workshop Rachel will cover the exciting possibilities of introducing plating into your toolbox of techniques. We will cover setting up your own plating rig...all you have to bring is your safety equipment and that old cell phone charger in your bottom drawer (not to exceed 12 volt output.) We will also discuss large bath plating and zinc plating! Metallics and non-metallics alike can go into the plating bath with the proper prep! Special surprise technique to be included!! Participants will go home with plated samples, a small personal plating jar to use at home and an excess of knowledge to bring to your studio! Join Rachel and have a blast learning about plating and building your very own plater!

We will spend the day exploring basic application then onto tips, tricks and serious playtime! Ditch the drips, sags and chipping that comes along with spray paint and join me in learning an easy and fun way to add a durable, colorful finish to your work!
